Unmatched Harvesting Capacity In Any Conditions: The CX8000 harvesting system’s massive capacity includes unique threshing and separating systems. Nearly all the grain is separated by a patented rotary separator before it is delivered to the straw walkers. Convenient adjustments make it easy to handle changing crop conditions.

Bigger, Tougher Threshing Ability: The heavy threshing cylinder on CX8000 combines is 29.5 inches in diameter with ten rasp bars for increased capacity. By generating greater inertia, this brawny cylinder easily handles tough, uneven feeding conditions. For even more capacity in difficult threshing conditions, CX8000 combines can be equipped with a cast steel cylinder. A full-width stone trap provides complete peace-of-mind protection.

Increased Separation With Less Loss: The concave uses 16 bars and has a wrap angle of 111 degrees, providing a generous 1,829-sq.-in. surface area that promotes increased separation, less grain damage and less loss. Using eight fixed plates, the rear beater rotates at the same speed as the threshing drum, smoothly transitioning material to the rotary separator.

Exclusive, Effective Grain Separation: The CX8000 combine’s patented New Holland rotary separator is an industry exclusive. The rotary separator removes 50 percent to 70 percent of the grain passing over the cylinder/concave before it moves to the straw walkers. Larger and more effective than previous TX combine models, the rotary separator is 28.3 inches in diameter with a larger 1,441-sq.-in. grate and is equipped with 12 welded bars. Two speeds and two clearance settings allow you to adjust to changing conditions and crops.

Maximized Separation And Larger Capacity: The straw flow beater cleans crop from the rotary separator and positions straw on the front of the straw walkers, providing a fluffier mat for better grain separation. With double the crop clearance of TX models, CX8000 combines provide greater separation capacity. The bigger straw walker’s massive surface area maximizes crop flow to the cleaning system, and a steeper angle provides greater separating action.

Vigorous Rethreshing: The exclusive double returns system delivers tailings to the rotor-rethresher drum and concave where the crop is vigorously rethreshed. The crop is then carried by an auger to an impeller where it is evenly distributed onto the grain pan. Competitive machines, which deliver returns back to the cylinder, can compromise the capacity of the main threshing area and negatively affect grain quality. The IntelliView™ II display keeps you informed of the returns status.

Cleaner Grain With Less Loss: The unique CX8000 SLS self-leveling cleaning system not only cleans grain efficiently, it also saves grain. The entire cleaning system, including the fan, grain pan and sieves, remains level at all times, eliminating grain loss caused by uneven material distribution. The SLS system provides unmatched cleaning capacity on flat ground and continues to deliver ultimate cleaning efficiency on slopes up to 17%.

Efficient Disc Chaff Spreaders: The CR combine series-style chaff spreader (with two horizontal discs) can be factory- or dealer-installed on CX8000 combines to match your chaff handling preferences. Chaff spreaders are available instead of chaff blowers for customers who do not want to distribute chaff via the straw chopper. Disc chaff spreaders can be installed on combines with or without a straw chopper.

Industry’s Largest Cleaning Area: With 10,075 square inches of total sieve area, CX8000 combines lead the industry with massive cleaning capacity. The large grain pan has no dividers and is always kept level, so grain can stratify, spread out and separate easily. Competitive cleaning systems use augers, which actually mix grain and chaff together, making it harder to separate and clean grain.

Oscillation Lifts And Separates Grain Repeatedly: The grain pan’s oscillating motion stratifies grain before it reaches the pre-cleaner sieve, with heavier, free grain sifting to the bottom. When the grain and chaff reach the sieves, the grain falls through to the next cleaning level while the lighter chaff is lifted to the top and blown away by the cleaning fan. Unthreshed grain (tailings) is rethreshed separately for maximum capacity.

Large-Volume Cleaning: The cleaning fan provides a huge volume of air to the sieves and is controlled electrically from the cab. An adjustable pre-cleaning sieve is positioned behind the grain pan to immediately separate a large quantity of grain and direct it to the bottom sieve. A lever at the rear of the combine allows you to easily adjust the pre-cleaning sieve.

Adjustable Sieves For Less Loss: Top chaffer sieve and bottom cleaning sieves are fully adjustable to handle all crop conditions. Sieves can be adjusted easily to assure a cleaner sample and lower losses. An optional control allows you to adjust the sieves on the go from the cab.

Powerful, Fuel-Efficient Engine: Hard-working, electronically controlled, fuel-efficient turbocharged engines deliver 322 horsepower on the CX8070, 350 horsepower on the CX8080 and 400 horsepower on the CX8090 at rated rpm. These six-cylinder diesels have the power reserve to meet any challenge in the field and are famous for their reliability and long life.

Responsive, Ready Power: Ample torque backup gets you through the toughest field conditions without loss of threshing speed. Instantaneous governor response keeps you harvesting in difficult areas. A rocker switch, located on the throttle, allows the operator to select a full range of engine rpm.

Convenient Display: The IntelliView™ II display automatically monitors critical engine functions and immediately alerts the operator to any difficulties.

Increased Cooling Capacity: A large nine-blade cooling fan draws air through the cooling radiators for better performance. A higher-speed fan with a dust wiper for maximum cooling capacity is featured on the CX8090 model. The self-cleaning rotary screen eliminates chaff and large particles before they reach the fan for greater fan efficiency. An optional rotary screen dust brush is available for when persistent rotary screen plugging is an issue.

Ample Fuel Supply: Large 265-gallon fuel tank capacity (200 gallons on the CX8070) provides long hours of continuous operation.

The sensor plate mounted in the top of the grain elevator incorporates a pivoting device and counterweight to maintain system balance on slopes and neutralize the friction effect of various grain moistures and densities to ensure precise measurement. Simplified Access To Threshing Components: Two large access panels and the stonetrap door provide unmatched access to the threshing cylinder and concave. Easy rear beater and rotary separator access is made through a removable plate in the grain tank. Quick side panel access lets you engage the de-awning plates to the underside of the drum concave in seconds for more aggressive threshing action.

Easy Rotary Separator, Beater Adjustments: Rotary separator speed can be changed simply by releasing a belt tension lever and repositioning the belt on a second set of pulleys. A handle on the right side of the combine lets you easily adjust the position of the beater and rotary separator concaves. The upper position provides maximum harvesting capacity in cereals, while the lower position provides gentler handling of brittle straw and canola.
