Kubota Diesel Engine - Boasting 71 net engine HP and a whopping 64HP PTO power, the Kubota V3307 turbocharged engine produces greater power, yet provides increased efficiency and cleaner emissions. It also meets EPA, Interim Tier IV emission regulations.
Main Gear Shift Lever - The new Kubota M7040SUH/SUHD is equipped with a fully synchronized main transmission to increase travel efficiency. Locating the main shift to the right side makes it easier to operate and provides a clear platform for entry and exiting the tractor.
Range Shift Lever - The range shift lever allows quick and easy shifting between high and low gears, providing 8 forward and 8 reverse speeds (8F/8R), allowing the operator to choose the right gear for the task.
Hydraulic Shuttle Shift - The steering column-mounted hydraulic shuttle shift makes forward and reverse maneuvers smooth and quick. Clutch-less operation boosts productivity, especially in loader applications. An improved inching feathering feature gives the same feel as a half-clutch operation for easier inching movement of the tractor while connecting implements.
Hand Accelerator - The hand accelerator is located on the right side of steering column within easy reach.
PTO Engagement Lever - Right side location makes engaging the PTO ergonomically friendly and easy to use while observing rear mount implements. The Live-Independent, 540RPM PTO with wet-type clutch expands the use of the new M7040SUH/SUHD to include rear-mounted, PTO-driven implements such as rotary tillers, post-hole diggers, snow blowers, rear-mount mower and hay tools.
Hydraulics / 3-pt. Hitch - The Internal hydraulic cylinder rockshaft offers responsive and powerful lift capacity (3307 lbs at 24 in. behind lift points). The new M7040SUH/SUHD offers a high pump capacity of 11.6 gpm. As a result, the front loader cycle times are short, increasing productivity and facilitating operation. One SCD (Self-Canceling Detent) hydraulic remote valve is standard, with the option to add up to 2 more, SCD of FD (Float Detent) valve.
